The application of ABAQUS in the strength Analysis of Laminate Wood Furniture
Furniture is relevant to people’s life and work. The laminate wood furniture is favored by contemporary people thanks to its beautiful shape and good functionality. But at present, the size design of the wood furniture with abnormal shape is based on the experience and lacks of accurate design basis. In order to ensure the bearing capacity of the stress concentrated parts, reduce the common abundant dimensions and the waterfulness of material, and improve the material utilization rate, the various sizes of the laminated veneer lumber were used as the bending parts of the seat. Using the ABAQUS finite element software, the rapid and non-destructive analysis of the special bending member of the seat under static load is carried out, the stress distribution state of the different size components is obtained, and the size of the special-shape component is optimized in order to provide reference for the design of the joint material for the special-shape component.
